As a Transport Planner, youโll be responsible for planning and executing efficient collection and delivery schedules, ensuring optimal use of fleet resources while maintaining high customer service standards and full compliance with transport regulations.
๐งญ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
โช๏ธPlan and manage daily transport operations using TMS and customer systems
โช๏ธMaximise vehicle and driver utilisation, including backloads and allocations
โช๏ธCoordinate with workshop teams to ensure fleet availability
โช๏ธCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teams
โช๏ธManage staffing levels, including agency support when required
โช๏ธHandle booking schedules, quotations, and next-day planning
โช๏ธDrive continuous improvement across transport operations
โช๏ธMaintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised working
environment

โช๏ธTransport planning experience (minimum 1 year)
โช๏ธKnowledge of tachograph rules, WTD, and transport legislation
โช๏ธStrong geographical and operational awareness
โช๏ธExperience with transport systems (TMS)
โช๏ธProblem-solving and analytical skills
