Our client, a highly respected construction services company based in Brentford, is looking for an ambitious finance professional to support the Finance Director and lead a team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a Financial Controller designate role within a fantastic business.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠:
✅ Leading and developing the finance team
✅ Producing monthly management accounts
✅ Overseeing payroll, invoicing and supplier payments
✅ Managing VAT, PAYE, CIS & Corporation Tax
✅ Supporting budgeting, cash flow and year-end processes
✅ Working closely with the Finance Director on strategic financial planning and business improvements
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫:
✔️ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller
✔️ Construction industry experience is essential
✔️ Strong leadership and team management skills
✔️ ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, qualified or QBE considered
✔️ Excellent Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Sage 50 Cloud experience desirable)
