Location: Workington, Cumbria
Pay: £50,000 – £65,000 + Excellent Benefits
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per WeekWe’re recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business operating within the nuclear and highly regulated industries sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on safety-critical electrical, control and instrumentation systems that make a real operational impact.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠:
Designing and integrating EC&I systems for nuclear applications Producing detailed design packages, CAD drawings and calculations Developing control philosophies and control system architectures Designing control panels, instrumentation and electrical systems Supporting site surveys at Sellafield and other nuclear facilities Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams Ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards and legislation
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫:
HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Design Engineering or similar Strong commercial electrical design experience Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical Experience within nuclear, heavy engineering, industrial or regulated sectors Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to obtain nuclear site security clearance (P4, SC, BPSS)If you’re ready to contribute to innovative engineering solutions within the nuclear sector and grow your career with a forward-thinking organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
